NOVUS CAMPAIGN REACHES TARGET TO IMPROVE 20K LIVES

Novus Property Solutions’ hugely successful Changing Lives initiative has met its ambitious target to improve and transform the lives of more than 20,000 people since it was launched at the start of 2015.

 

The property maintenance specialist aimed to make a positive contribution to the communities in which it operates and over the last two years through its Changing Lives programme it has organised hundreds of volunteer projects from employment opportunities and skills development activities to community projects designed to tackle local issues. Novus employees have also raised and donated more than £110,000 for a variety of charities and good causes.

 

As part of the campaign, last year Novus ran eight separate social media competitions which aimed to recognise the little things that make a big difference to people’s everyday lives. The competitions attracted hundreds of entries and £1,800 was donated by Novus in total to 13 different charities selected by the winners.

 

The Changing Lives campaign reflects the core ethos of the Novus brand, and the company’s entire workforce is encouraged to get involved by contributing ideas for campaign activities, as well as volunteering their time and energy.

 

Kevin Rhone, head of social value at Novus, said: “Changing Lives has been a huge success since its launch back in 2015 and I’m so proud of the way everyone has come together to hit the ambitious target we set for both years.”
