Manger’s refreshing range review

Decorating sundries brand Manger’s, which has long been associated with good, value-for-money products, has recently overhauled its range to offer customers a more credible range of preparation products to suit both trade and household projects.

As part of PPG Architectural Coatings UK and Ireland, which is also home to popular brands Leyland and Johnstone’s, Manger’s boasts over 90 years’ experience within the industry and continues to offer a comprehensive range of cleaners, fillers, adhesives and solvents combined with excellent customer service.

The refreshed range includes new products, including kitchen and bathroom sealant and clean spirit, alongside re-formulated products from the existing range, all of which are available to order now.

Manger’s new Kitchen and Bathroom Sealant, a specially formulated sanitary sealant perfect for moisture-prone areas, adheres without primer to glass, ceramic, vitreous surfaces and painted surfaces. It cures quickly to provide a permanently flexible, long-lasting and high strength waterproof, anti-fungal and mould resistant seal. This brilliant white sealant is ideal for gaps around baths, showers, kitchens tops and tiles and can also be used for both interior and exterior projects.

Every bit as effective as traditional white spirit for cleaning, yet no more harmful than many household detergents, Clean Spirit has been taking the decorating and DIY world by storm. Its gentle but effective water-based formula means it is low odour, safer to use and more environmentally friendly. It can be used efficiently to clean both water-based and oil-based paint spills from worktops, flooring, textiles and glass, while the conditioning agent in the formulation helps to leave brushes soft and supple.

To complement the newly refreshed range, Manger’s has also launched a handy pocket-sized product guide to provide an overview of what products are available with all their features and benefits at a quick glance  and a new preparation guide, ideal for DIYer as it is designed to provide useful hints and tips on preparation ahead of any decorating project.
