Brian is set to tackle the Prudential London-Surrey 100-mile charity bike ride later this month, to raise money for Children with Cancer UK, the official partner of Crown Paints for 2017.

His bike ride is one of a number of company-run and individual fund-raising activities taking place during the year to support the leading national children’s charity, which is dedicated to research into finding cures for childhood cancers as well as providing support and care for poorly children.

Other activities include an annual golf tournament, a summer fun day for employees, and, later in the year, a Christmas market and grand raffle.

Staff across Crown Paints’ Lancashire and Hull manufacturing sites, as well as its network of more than 130 Crown Decorating Centres located across the UK, will be supporting the cause this year.

Brian takes to the saddle on Sunday 30th July 2017 to follow a 100-mile route through London and the Surrey countryside. Riders have an eight-and-a-half-hour time limit to complete the course.

He will be one of over 25,000 amateur cyclists taking part in the event in a bid to raise as much money as possible for charity.

To support the cause, donations can be made to a Virgin Money Giving page for anyone who wants to support Brian, at
