Charities in the UK and Ireland are being encouraged to nominate themselves to partner with global paint manufacturer PPG Architectural Coatings.
PPG, which manufactures leading paint brands Johnstone’s and Leyland, has a long standing commitment to charity, both on a local and national level. The nationwide coverage that PPG boasts, particularly through its 187 Johnstone’s Decorating Centres, means that the successful charity will be able to reap the benefits of national exposure.
To nominate themselves, charities need to contact Pamela Morley on 01924 354311 or firstname.lastname@example.org to request an entry form, which they need to return to PPG by 25th October. The only criterion that applies is that the charity must cover the UK and Ireland and be registered in one of these countries. Once all nominations have been received, PPG employees will take part in a vote to choose the company’s charity partner.
PPG is committed to donating funds from its corporate and social responsibility scheme plus all monies raised at events throughout 2014, such as the prestigious Johnstone’s Painter of the Year awards and other national events.
Megan Esmond from PPG, said: “We are excited to be making this significant cash donation to our chosen charity and it is fantastic that PPG is able to support a charity in this way. We will take great pride in making these donations to what we are sure will be a worthy cause.”
